NOTICE BOARD
Back in March last year as the Covid situation was getting out of hand, the committee took thedecision to suspend all meetings until further notice. At the time
we thought it would only be for acouple of months, but alas it has been almost 18 months and in that time there have been no club events
Now that the government have lifted restrictions and the vaccine programme seems to be having
the desired effect on the virus, we are delighted to announce that we are going to restart meetings
from next month. The first meeting will be held at the Featherstone lions Social Club Mill pond
stadium Wakefield Rd Featherstone on Thursday 23rd September. Doors open at 7pm with the
meeting due to start at 7.30pm
The venue currently has no restrictions on numbers, but we do ask that members be sensible
and considerate to others when attending. For those that don't quite feel confident meeting
indoors yet, please don't feel as though you have to attend. You are welcome back anytime
you feel comfortable. Face masks are not compulsory in the venue, but please feel free to wear
one if it makes you feel more comfortable.
On behalf of the committee, I want to thank all of our members and friends for bearing with us
through these difficult times, and we look forward to welcoming you back to meetings on 23rd
